The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer-songwriter brings her Tell Me You Love Me world tour to the Summer Saturday Live stage on June 9.
Named after her sixth studio album, she’s currently playing to sold-out arenas across the US.
Known for hits like Sorry Not Sorry, Heart Attack, Confident, Cool For The Summer, Give Your Heart A Break and the juggernaut Skyscraper tickets go on presale at 8am Thursday and general sale 8am Friday via www.thejockeyclublive.co.uk.
Saf Chowdhury, director of concerts and marketing for The Jockey Club Live, said: “We’re delighted to announce Demi Lovato as our Summer Saturday headliner. Her achievements as a global star are second to none and the show will be something very special.”
Demi’s joining a summer line-up of some of the world’s best-known contemporary artists and iconic acts.
Having brought the likes of Little Mix and previous Demi collaborator Olly Murs to the racecourse in 2017, Craig David’s July 20 performance has already sold out.
George Ezra’s August 17 concert is likely to follow suiit. He most recently shot straight to number one on the Official UK Album Chart with sophomore album Staying at Tamara’s; knocking The Greatest Showman off the top after a staggering 11 weeks.
Other artists include Paloma Faith, June 22; James Blunt, June 29; Plan B, July 27, Nile Rodgers and Chic, August 10; and The Vamps, August 25.
Amy Starkey, regional director east of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “Demi has a huge following and she will appeal greatly to our family audience. It’s fantastic that her many fans will have the opportunity to see her perform here in Newmarket after an exciting day’s racing.”
